ABOUT All proceeds from this event will be donated to GORC (Gateway Off-Road Cyclist) to help with various local area trail builds, trail maintenance and other initiatives that GORC will take on to help build a better outdoor community here in the LOU.
LOCATION Race will be hosted at the Beulah Shelter that is located off the Scenic Road Loop at Greensfelder County Park. Please visit the parks Greensfelder Park website for more information.
COURSE DESCRIPTION The 963 Beulah Challenge is a timed event on the Beulah Loop/Trail at Greensfelder Park.
The course loop is 4.2 Miles - Elevation Gain Per Loop is approx. 397 feet and Elevation Loss Per Loop is approx. 397 feet.
The course/trail is 100% single track goodness, all dirt and to keep you present there are enough rocks and roots. Bring a solid headlamp for this run!
Distance: 9 Hours, 6 Hours and 3 Hours - Pick your poison!
START TIME & TIME LIMIT 9 Hours Timed Event Start Time: 3PM Check In and Packet Pickup: 2PM - 2:45PM
6 Hours Timed Event Start Time: 6PM Check In and Packet Pickup: 5PM - 5:45PM
3 Hours Timed Event Start Time: 9PM Check In and Packet Pickup: 8PM-8:45PM
ALL EVENTS END AT MIDNIGHT ON Feb 9, 2020
All Runners MUST start their last loop before or by 11PM
AID STATIONS Race HQ will be at the Beulah Shelter which will also, be the start/finish and that's where the aid stations will be setup as well. There will only be one aid stations and you will hit that every 4.2 miles when you come off the loop. Dropbags and any other gear etc. can be left at the shelter at the time of check in.
SWAG & AWARDS We are going to keep this as Ol School as possible so no medals and or awards BUT if you can knock out the below distance in the allotted time we'll send ya home with a souvenir.
